August 14th is celebrated nationwide with great warmth and zeal. Therefore, Imtiaz celebrated this day with the full spirit of independence. The in-store celebratory activities were pulled off very successfully at all our 24 stores across Pakistan. The celebrations began on 12th August and continued until 14th August including singing and coloring competitions, face paintings, musical chairs, cake cutting, giveaways, and whatnot. The stores were decorated in the theme of our flag and 75 years of independence.
What really added to the essence of the celebration was our special lucky draw where 75 lucky winners could get a chance to win a shopping voucher worth Rs. 25,000!
Apart from this, we held a very special ceremony on the 14th of August to pay a heartfelt tribute to our dear homeland and played our national anthem at 4 PM sharp across all our stores in Pakistan simultaneously. This really created a buzz amongst our customers and got us appreciation from them.
As much as we were excited to celebrate the 75 years of Independence, the customers equally joined in with great enthusiasm across our stores. This gives us encouragement to continue executing such enlivening activities in the future because Imtiaz believes in celebrating moments of joy with its valued customers.

Summer is here and so is the severe heatwave. Being citizens of a generally hot country, we are all aware of the severity of heat that we face as soon as the hot weather approaches. As heatstroke could be severe to an extent where it can be fatal, making the weather a very serious concern for all, we all should be well-prepared to combat it as well as help others in the prevention against heat stroke and heat-related illness!

That being said, what really is important are the symptoms and precautions that we all should be aware of. In order to bring about a change and to play its role as a responsible entity, Imtiaz initiated the project of Heatwave Relief Camps where we set up camps outside our stores to provide chilled water supply to the public and to distribute educational flyers to them informing them about the precautionary measure for heatwave and guidelines to combat it.

Moreover, we have paramedic staff available on locations as well to handle an emergency situation and give first aid to such individuals affected by heatstroke. The aim is to spread awareness wherever we can because what is better than helping others in such crucial times. Imtiaz perceives itself as an organization that works for its people and this does not only include our services as a retail store but also our services in the spectrum of corporate social responsibility.

The love, appreciation, and trust that the customers have always showered us with always encourage us to put an immense amount of effort into serving our loyal customers in all possible ways. Expanding exponentially is one way to serve our customers in as many corners of the country as possible but adding more to it is the amazing lucky draws that we hold at each store’s opening, aimed to surprise our customers with huge prizes. This time it was Imtiaz Mega Gujrat where we organized this Grand Lucky Draw and stacked it with massive prizes.

The lucky draw took place on the 8^th of May at our Gujrat store where a massive crowd joined in to witness the announcement of winners live. We also went live via our Facebook page to broadcast the event to as many people as possible. Through an electronic lucky draw, random customers were picked by the system and it sure was a thrilling sight to witness. What made the event all the more interesting and fun was taking the winners on the live call and catching them by surprise. It was surely an event filled with excitement, emotions of gratefulness, and some disappointments of course, but that is always the part and parcel of lucky draws as there can only be so many winners. However, the whole audience did really enjoy the event as we put on a great show for them!

We feel sheer pride in extending our services to so many cities at such a rapid pace, perhaps this could be counted as a way to thank our customers for the immense love and support they’ve always bestowed upon us. What could be more fun than enjoying some quality time with your colleagues at Iftaar & Dinner? Well, taking the best out of this opportunity, Imtiaz organized a well-laid setup, booked the entire place for its employees, lit the ambiance with warm fairy lights, and got all set for an Iftaar that could be cherished years after it.
